Cliff's Lounge

The new location is a joke. The staff is completely unaware of what is going on around them. They don‘t see you when you walk in and they forget to check back to see if you want another drink. I had 3 drinks and waited more than 20 minutes for each one. Getting my bill was almost as bad.

Very Nice Bar, Fair drink Prices, New staff is rude... Cliff‘s would be better if it was not located Down-Town.

Cliff‘s Lounge is the best bar in town. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the prices are outstanding ($6 buckets).

Cliff‘s isn‘t your typical downtown Lincoln bar. It‘s clean, and the bartenders know how to make a drink. Seating is a little crowded, but after a few kamikazes you don‘t really care. The drinks are strong. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about drinks, and you can‘t go wrong with any of their kamikazes. With 50 flavors, just about everyone is happy. As long as you stay away from the Bong Water, everything will be alright!

The lack of draft beer is a little disappointing, but for as long as I‘ve been going to Cliff‘s, I think I‘ve ordered beer once. Once you get their Sharkwater running in your veins, you‘ll never turn back.

This is a nice classy bar where I can sit down and enjoy a great drink. The service may not always be fast on a busy night but I would rather go to Cliff‘s than the other bars downtown where there are dirty bathrooms and sticky tables. The staff is always nice.

Cliffs Rocks! Strong drinks, good atmosphere and the sexiest staff in the bar business. I did see the local celeb they were talking about and stopped by and said hi and he actually talked to me for a bit ( inbetween the 4 drinks he had in 20 min.) funny guy! I would recommend this place for him alone! Great Place! 5stars!

That place is better than any other down town bar as far as atmosphere and the type of customer...In addition you can go there almost any night and if you are lucky catch a drink with Doug Murray ( a local alcoholic celebrity). They have great deals all the time on shots to counter act the higher priced drinks. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time...

Unlike most bars downtown, Cliffs is one of the cleanest well kept establishments downtown. When they say they serve the strongest drinks in town, they mean it. I for one would suggest this bar to anyone who likes to have a good time and be waited on by a highly motivated bar staff.

The dancing pole is a lot of fun...but it‘s broken now. The drinks are expensive here...but very strong.

Only thing against new cliffs is lack of a rye whiskey. Other than that its a good place, drinks are made correctly most of the time if you don‘t get an on the job trainee. Staff is friendly and efficent
Price wise its a tad above most O st establishments but not bad.
Wide variety of liquor they even have bitters(not alot of places seem to anymore.)

I‘ll have to agree with the previous poster, this place is less than desirable.

I think everything about this place is bad, they took a great lincoln classic and moved it and turned it into another crappy downtown bar.

I don‘t know any other bar downtown that has the drink selection and expertise of the bartenders at Cliff‘s. Every imaginable liqour is available and at a good price for what you get. It‘s not like the other bars where you get a one ounce shot, your drink is stiff and the atmosphere is great!! Plus the beer garden is heated, has plenty of seating, and a huge plasma t.v. I don‘t know what the comment from Nov. 14th is about but I‘m asumming he/she was acting like a jerk and the bartenders there don‘t put up with that kind of behavior and put a stop to it quickly so other guests aren‘t annoyed with 21 year old antics.

I love what they have done with the new Cliff‘s. They maintained the retro feel with the high leather booths, retro chairs, stone bar, and cool green lighting. It‘s more spacious and more elegant. Though the old one will be missed, this was a well needed move to accommodate more patrons, especially on game days. If I recall there are two huge plasma screens above the bar. It might also have the nicest restrooms on all of "O." There is also a large outdoor smoking room fit with Plasma screens as well. Don‘t forget the Kamikaze‘s.

Cliff‘s has moved! The new address is 1323 O Street - just east of The Watering Hole. The new location is awesome! The lit bartop is really cool. I love that they kept the green balls! The drinks are still the stiffest in town.

This bar rocks. I absolutely love going there. The drinks are a bit pricey, but worth EVERY CENT! It‘s nice to actually get some booze in your drink... and it happens at cliffs. The bartenders are awesome, especially the big guy!!

Stiffest drinks in town. You‘ve got to try the Shark Water. Either that or one of the other 47 kamikazes. My favorite is the Voodoo. Great atmosphere. Love the big green balls hanging from the ceiling.
