Mickey's Irish Pub

The owner is one of the biggest jerks of all time; totally arrogant, just a prick through and through. The bar itself has poor service -- probably a reflection of the owner, John something or other -- and isn‘t worth your time, and MOST CERTAINLY isn‘t worth your money.

I was in town on a business trip, and went out with some friends one night. We had to wait in line to get into a sardine-packed bar filled with drunk, slobbery college kids. Don‘t plan on dancing in the cages unless you want to be embarrassed thoroughly by the DJ who will stop the music and shine the spotlight on you, telling you to get down because of their unwritten policy of "no dudes in the cage," referring to one of my friends dancing with me. We went to the bar and couldn‘t even get one bartender to acknowledge our presence - even after 10 minutes! And on our way out the door, at least 2 or 3 people bumped into me, spilling their drinks all over me ... and not once saying "I‘m sorry" or "Excuse me." Between the DJ, the staff and the patrons, it made for an absolutely horrible experience. The people here are rude and just don‘t give a damn about anyone else. I‘ll never go back ... and I‘ll make sure my friends don‘t give this bar their hard-earned cash, either.

i‘m from hollywood california and this place was so much better then any bar out here by far. i think the bartender‘s name was jake who made my night. the service was fantastic!!!!
