Spigot

the keg beer is always warm. the floor is missing huge hunks and getting warped because they put in laminate...in a BAR! um, people spill all the time.

Great place!! Lots of college students during the school year but in the summer it is a fun place to be.

The last review was in 2010... As one of the new owners of the Spigot we have changed not only the clientel but the appearence of the old Spigot. We are more of a real lounge with great bartendars and great drinks. We offer alot of different types of entertainment inclueding bands, karaoke, comedy, DJ, and Free improve comedy work shop every thursday night. We have lots of leagues and crowds of all ages. Its not just a last call bar anymore and the olny bikers are at Harry‘s.

I agree with the guy who said he only gave this place one star because he couldn‘t give it zero. I was unfortunate enough to end up at the Spigot the other night and, wow, what a complete waste of space. This place would be better off if they tore it down and made a parking lot.

Oh, and +1 on the homeless guys in there. WTF is with that?

I only gave this $hithole 1 star because I couldn‘t give it ZERO! What a bunch of posers and losers at this bar. From the dirtball homeless guys who look like they spent the day collecting enough aluminum cans to sell so they could get drunk to the wanna be gangbangers and the worst DJ in the city this place has NOTHING to offer.

Terrible atmosphere, warm beer, and it‘s 3 blocks off the beaten downtown path. I guess it‘s a good place to go if you‘re trying to work up the courage to kill yourself. I wanted to after only an hour there.

This bar is not for everyone, but if you are looking for a crowd that is easy going and not caught up in all the fads of the time then this is a great place to go. The drink prices are great, the music is good (it‘s primarily hard rock which is different than most bars where hip hop is all you hear) and the bartenders, although they might not be "hot" and are somewhat older, are very nice, as well as knowledgeable. They aren‘t the typical college student who stands around and won‘t serve you. Even when the bar is busy it is very easy to get a drink. The Spigot is also fairly large so you don‘t get stuck packed into a mass of drunk people, you can move around freely. On top of that, they have pool, shuffle board, snacks you can buy, darts, and even one of those crane vending machines with the stuffed animals. In my opinion one of the best downtown bars even if it is a little out of the way.
