Mo Java Cafe & Roasting Co

I‘m sitting in Mo Java now, as I am frequently. Try the Highlander Brew!!! This place is infinitely better than any huge chain. Delicious cheap coffee and food, quick and friendly staff, and a wonderful environment. The place is decorated largely by local artists, and looks fantastic.

Great atmosphere good service and the best coffee in town!!

The atmosphere of Mo Java is absolutely wonderful. If you‘re in the area you should definitely make a point to stop. I recommend trying their Almond Joy latte and their Crab Melt. Also their Breakfast Bagel is delicious. :) The service is always very helpful, the owner may come across as a bit rude but he is in fact very kind. Especially if you smile! (they are contagious) I‘ve never had a bad experience and the food is excellent. They are very much into saving paper, recycling, etc. If that‘s your fancy they do what they can to help the environment and I think that it just adds to the atmosphere of the coffee shop. Some nights they have bands playing, I believe on weekends mostly. A great experience! :) Also, very good at serving the college crowd from Nebraska Wesleyan, just up the street!

I have been at a lot of different coffee houses in Lincoln, and by far, this one is my favorite. The baristas are very good at making drinks and the sandwiches are excellent. I would highly recommend this place if you have some time to kill in the area.

The service is slow and the food was average. This would have been perfectly fine if the service was good but this wasnt the case. The owner never stopped by to apologize and seemed not to care about the clientele and was kinda pissy. It is a shame because this used to be one of my favorite places to stop by for a quick fix.

The owner was super rude. I felt completely unwanted as a customer. Sad, since the food and coffee was good.

I would have given Mo Java a 5 out of 5, however they recently changed their hours so that they now close at 9:00 pm Monday through Thursday rather than 11:00 pm, as it was before. This was my favorite place to study at night, but that won‘t work anymore with them closing so early. I‘m very disappointed and I think they will soon realize that they will lose a lot of business because of this.
