Went to Brothers before the Blake Shelton concert and had a great time. Happy Hour Specials were the best downtown and service was great.

I just want to say, after having read the reviews posted here and being a fellow service industry worker I have a few bones to pick with people. People complain about how long it takes to get drinks at this bar (and I‘m sure they complain about the same issue at others), but I don‘t believe they know how to treat workers of establishments such as bars, grills and restaurants. Do you think a server/bartender is going to take your order if you don‘t tip or tip well? Probably not when they can serve someone else and establish how good they are. It is hard trying to work for a few bucks an hour and rely on your tips to get you through the month. Realize this, and your drink situation at ANY place will drastically improve. I can pretty much concur with the September 4 review, however I haven‘t been in this bar during a game day myself. It was definitely a fun time, great people around and a wholesome fun staff. There is even this one fellow there, a bartender I believe, that likes to show off while he is working. I‘ll admit, it‘s a bit cheesy looking, but it gets people going and his energy is up there. I do have an issue with the bathrooms. They seem a bit outdated, but clean, so 5 stars anyway!

i went there yesterday after the first nebraska game this season, and i thought it was awesome, seeing everyone in red celebrating the victory. it kicked ass. it made me proud to be a Nebraskan. It was my first time there, and i definately will go back and bring friends next time.. Also , i will not be the designated driver next time around, because i really wanted to get drunk there and let loose and havea good time.. seeing everyone happy and celebrating like that really made me feel good. And even though the place was packed, We had no problems getting our drinks, staff walked by every few minutes and checked on things... awesome awesome place!

First of all, to the dude that was trying to get in with a jumpsuit.. you‘re an idiot. talk like a human being. and dress like one. and as far as the bar, i got charged double for my drinks on my card which ended up to be a total of 200 dollars. Called the manager twice and still is not taken care of. The bartenders are young, good looking girls, but like the other reviews said, suck at making a good drink and service is below average. If you want to stare at a bunch of juice heads that try to hit on anything that walks in the door and sip on a shitty drink, this is the place for you.

This place is full of rediculiously arrogant dummys. I told the dumb bimbo behind the bar I want to start a tab but pay cash cause there was only 2 dollars on my card. When I asked what my total was she said hold on and ran the card anyway. I asked her not to run it and she said no it didnt run but to pay cash anyway. I was charged 2x for the same bullshit drinks. When I called the GM he laughed at me and then when I called corporate they did nothing. I will be suing them beacuse of the shitty incompetent employees from top to bottom!

Lame frat boy bar. its funny, if you read the 5 star reviews, they seem to try and justify the place. as though the owner writes them! makes you wonder...

For cheap drinks go here. For a good time go somewhere else.

Brothers is great! By far the best bar on O street. People that complain about brothers probally just work at another bar downtown and cant pay their bills because of Brothers.

The only people that go back are the 21 year olds that don‘t know any better. You will never catch me in this place again.

Brothers is the perfect place to go if you want to pay too much for watery drinks. Or if you haven‘t seen a popped collar in a while and really miss being around obnoxious frat boys with fake ID‘s. Brothers is also the perfect place to conceive an illegitimate child with a mongoloid-tool-bag who probably has herpes too.

Great place any night of the week. Specials just can‘t be beat up and down O Street.

This place used to be good. The staff is generally idiots. Its just a sloppy place with white trash.

I love going to brothers but the last time I went there a staff member gave me the wrong change and when I asked her about it she called me a lliar and refused to give me my seven dollars in change. After arguing with her for 5 minutes she gave major attitude and threw me my change. Not impressed!!

Had the greatest keg party here last week. Great deal and a great time.

Most energetic, best looking staff in town. Only place i can go where all my friends will be and I still can get a drink. Very crowded on weekends but i cant complain.

This place might look decent from the outside but inside are a bunch of rude sloppy drunks both male and female. If you want to witness a fight or have a drink spilled on you by another drunk and insecure female then have fun.

I have a blast evertime I go to Brothers for a Husker Game Day! Plenty of friendly staff and a great enviroment to watch the Game when ticket prices keep going up!

This place is horrible. They have to pretty much give away their drinks to get people in the door. Their service is pathetic. The bartenders might be able to pour a draft beer, but have no idea how to make a decent drink... and how can you get a decent drink for $1??? Rot-gut well liquor that makes you feel like ass in the morning. But I guess if all the 21 yr old "I‘m going downtown with $12 and wanna get wasted" crowd hangs out here, then they won‘t be infecting the other decent bars downtown.

I love brothers now. It‘s like lincoln woke up and realized they hacv this gem here in the middle of our downtown which is filled with the same old sleaze. I miss the big guy(hook ups) but the staff is hot and now I can get a drink anywhere in the bar.

i go to brothers every once and a while and its fine, nothing special, clean and nice smelling which is saying something for downtown. i love the remodel and new specials but miss the big guy who used to bartend and say funny stuff on the microphone,but the new bartenders are hot!

this place is great. I drink there all the time and never have a bad time. If you can‘t have fun in a brothers than you can‘t have fun in life... relax and have a beer!

Brothers is only good for one night of the week, and that is Thursdays when its dollar drinks. Any other night, I would be caught dead in there. It is probably great if you just turn 21, but there are so many better place to go. The bartenders females are hot, but thats all they got going for them. The remodel, what was the point, the atmosphere is still the same. I‘m not saying anything bad about the staff, because they do seem nice, but I really don‘t care for the crowd that goes there. I think Brothers attracks douche bags.

I love it when you can tell staff or management are the ones reviewing their own bars. Brothers is a horrible bar, the staff is unfriendly and dont seem to know anything more than how to pour a beer. Quit pushing your own ratings up online and figure out how to run a decent bar. Take some tips from some of the other Downtown bars like the Downtown or Main Street.

This bar is the only one you should go to in "downtown" Lincoln. awesome specials and a cool staff. They just remodeled the place too. Besides, where else are you gonna hang out? You gotta read the review before this one. I was there when that idiot got thrown out for being a duechebag. wonder why he wrote a bad review. all in all, the best bar in Lincoln.

The drinks are cheap, the food is good, but there are so many bad things, the employees are mostly rude, you will find a nice one here and there, but it‘s not common. Also, if you go there for lunch, it takes 45 minutes to get it. My friend and I call in our order now and they seemed like they didn‘t understand what I said by "putting in an order for some food to pick up". They are completely rude and their makeover wasn‘t necessary, it was fine before. They just wanted to waste tons of money.

I went to Brothers last night to see the new remodel...it looks awesome!! They redesigned the space and it feels smaller, but in a really good way. The bar is also smaller, so bartenders get to you much faster, which means more drinks! They also added a VIP room, which I can‘t wait to check out. Overall, it‘s a great improvement and I will definitely be there every weekend!

Brothers teems with drunken frat boys with big muscles and bad pickup lines. The music is canned, the crowd is boring, but the drinks are relatively cheap.

Seeing all the positive reviews makes me think there must be a new brothers in town... My experiences lead me to say it is quite possibly the worst bar on O st, which if you think about it, requires a heck of a lot.
Service there has always been bad(if you aren‘t a women showing a little T&A), ill admit it is semi cheap, but you better want jager bombs and bud light and thats about it, order anything else and you basically have to explain every step to the bartender who after ignoring you for 10 to 20 minutes decided to do his or her job. No redeeming aspects to the bar.
But hey that is just one guy‘s opinion.
Oh and as a side note don‘t ever let a friend buy a keg at brothers they seem a little to willing to let others in on "your" keg that shouldn‘t be

Brothers is a great bar to go and hang or with or girl or your friends for one simple reason...you don‘t have to worry about getting shot and the girls don‘t have to worry about getting raped. no matter what people say about the bouncers they keep the wrong people out and the good people in and if there is a problem the assholes in the bar are gone. friday nights are good nights to go there for dollar jager bombs so bring your friends and lets have a good time. the only thing the dress code does is keep gangstas and rednecks out of the bar so dress normal and come have a good time.

Brothers sucks! The door guys are wanna- be football playing steroid freaks and the bartenders need alot more training- both on drinks and common courtesy. There is always a long line of smokers huddled close to the door and salivating preppy college boys inside waiting to find their next one night victim.

I think the bar staff are all great....with exception of the Dork Chop that works during the day. The guy that wheres his pants to tight and has little man syndrome. What a jerk all around! I work close to brothers and the mgr. is always very kind and professional!! Good drinks and food...except when Dork Chop takes your order than it ruins everything!

Horrible music, horrible staff, I ordered a Mandarin press and got a rail orange vodka and coke. Learn how to train your staff. As a female I wouldn‘t recommend any other female go there, guys standing around salivating over you...real fun. Never again.

Meathead door guys who probably watch roadhouse everyday before work. Weak drinks, the manager is an ass. I wouldn‘t recommend this place to anyone. Many more establishments on O street and in Lincoln for that matter that would appreciate you spending your time and money at.

This place serves the best food and drinks. You dont wait that long and everyone is always nice when you order!

Enjoy waiting at least 15 minutes to get a drink, every time, no matter what you do. And that‘s only if you can get past the ridiculous dress code at the door. There are way too many unique, well run bars with two blocks of this place, why put up with the corporate nonsense that governs this one.

it is one of the only bars that actually has a dress code. when my friends and i come in here we feel safe, unlike a lot of the other bars. they have enough staff, sometimes it seems like too much that is walking around to ensure that problems do not occur. i have never been there for happy hour but i need to check it out.

this place is great for HAPPY HOUR...after that it is terrible. trashy crowd.

we recently attended brothers for a business get together during happy hour. we had no idea the cheap prizes they had, great deal. we enen ended up staying later in the night than we had actually planned. we are definately going to have more business gathering here.

4-8 happy hour, half price everything including appetizers. best happy hour in town

Mayne, this place din‘t even let me in cuz I had a jump suit on. Mayne, that‘s some BS. Also took me fo‘ever to get a drink ya heard me? Shiiiii, I had to wait like thirt‘ minutes ya heard me? Shiiii, I ain‘t goin‘ back to dat place ya heard me?

so, a sports bar with a dance floor, but wait, where is the dj? right, used a computer media player I think, well it sounded like it, with 3-6 seconds dead air between songs. oh....I forgot the bartenders have zero experience, had to wait like 20 mins to get a single drink and there was 12 bartenders on staff, you figure out the rest. never again,

Pretty much like a Wal-Mart of bars. Its a chain and is not very exciting. Their only draw in is the free darts and pool during their happy hour.

Bartender screwed me out of $10 here. I‘m never going back again. Just a worthless chain bar anyhow.
