Billy's

Excellent food and unique upscale restaurant for Lincoln. I would recommend it to anyone! I had the coconut shrimp and it may be the best I‘ve ever had!!!

Two years ago I was back in town with my wife visiting my in-laws. Sister-in-law suggested Billy‘s. I went, had the elk, it was fantastic. Service excellent. Everything great. I said this place could rival some of the best places in Washington DC!

Went back this Christmas, took my mother-in-law on her birthday. My bad! The new chef is a hack. The large portions were overkill of a bad subject. I had duck that was presented like someone drug it from the backyard. I felt sorry for the duck! It tasted like someone spread canned cranberry jelly all over it. The server was nice and tried his best. The damage was done. I should have taken her to Buzzard Billy‘s. Raised in New Orleans, I know their food was righteous. I was truly disappointed and WJB would have been ashamed!

Apparently, they have a new chef. If this is true, he‘s great! I was a long-time customer but stopped going regularly for a while. We went last weekend and I was very impressed. The presentation was beautiful, my steak was cooked just right, and my wife actually ate all her chicken (it has some weird shawtawqwa name) without sending it back! Billy‘s still lives up to its reputation: excellent food and friendly service.
