Lazzari's Pizza

Great Pizza! Randy Ross(which has spicy chicken, cream cheese, and pepperoni on it) is my favorite. Other pizzas are good too as well as calzones and pastas. The staff can be a little short with the late night customers, but that is understandable as many late night customers are overly intoxicated. A hotspot to grab a bite to eat and socialize for about a half-hour after the bars close by night and a great lunch hour stop for downtown Lincoln professionals by day.

Worst service I‘ve ever encountered in my life. After two football players walked to the front of a line of about 10 people & ordered their pizza the staff told us we can deal with it or leave because "they basically own the place". I left without getting anything. I don‘t know what kind of business platform this place has but it‘s definitely not something I will ever be spending money to support again.

This is the best pizza in town, period. It used to be a toss up between Lazarri‘s and Nero‘s until Nero‘s ruined their food with a recipe change.

Wicked awesome pie! Don‘t go any where else in Lincoln for pizza, it just doesn‘t compare.

I have tried every small, medium, and large pizza joint in Lincoln looking for the perfect pie. While there are some great ones out there (like Nero‘s) there is NO PLACE that compares to Lazzari‘s!

Lazzarri‘s is, hands down, the BEST pizza in Lincoln!

Going to college in Lincoln, Lazzari‘s was the "final destination" for those in need of a little something extra to tide them over after an evening of excess. Sure some people might have eaten there while sober but I wasn‘t one of them. At 1:30 in the morning there was nothing better in the universe than their spicy chicken pizza.
It‘s a fairly underwhelming experience when you walk into Lazzari‘s. Their idea of decoration is to put up former University of Nebraska athlete‘s jerseys and various banners that were no doubt stolen from local sports broadcasts. But frankly, that is part of the charm. In not trying to dazzle with the decor they are essentially saying, "Come in, eat pizza. If you like it you‘ll be back."
As far as food goes, they make a New York Style thin crust that is spectacular and they have the toppings that the chain pizza joints shun. They have pretty affordable lunch deals and do pretty good business during that time of day. If you‘re planning on jumping in for a quick lunch you might want to order ahead.
The only real problem I have is they are located downtown and there is zilch easy parking; makes it hard to get a pie to go at times.

This is the best pizza place in Lincoln by far. I‘m really impressed with the service and the quality for the price.
