I thought the food was less than decent. The prices? Egh, they were a little high for what you got. The thing that most put a sour taste in my mouth was the guy in charge. I assume he‘s the manager. He appeared hopped up on speed, was EXTREMELY jittery and was snapping at the other employees and the customers as well. It wasn‘t even busy and he was cutting corners and rushing things, almost like he was trying to get me away from him faster. I feel it‘s significant that the other employees sort of stood back and looked at him as if he had a problem. Obviously something was going on there. In any event, I won‘t be returning there.

After moving from Montana and not knowing anybody the friendly staff made me feel at home, not to mention great food

The Pita Pit is fantastic! It‘s conveniently located downtown, both near the University of Nebraska-Lincoln City Campus and the bars. It‘s also open late -- 2 a.m. on the weekends -- to satisfy every need.

Furthermore, the staff is friendly and willing to help out anytime!
