Bring back Slapshots. It wasn‘t the best bar in lincoln, but it is better than this joint

Tried the new south location three times now, opening day the service was pathetic, the food was OK. Two weeks later the service was good and the food was good. Tie breaker, tried again hoping for a quiet late lunch, major disappointment. Some employee who had finished shift proceeded to sit at the bar and talk at, not too, another employee behind the bar for 20 minutes about the problems the bar is having keeping good employees, how no one is able to track the liquor stocks, and the problems Don is having. You’ve got problems, fine, but I don’t want to hear them. Especially from someone who is either hearing impaired or never learned inside voice in kindergarten.

The Red Fox is a classic case of a good restaurant doing what they‘re good at and not trying to be anything more. Love this place. Great, efficient staff and no ridiculous "flair" adorning the walls. I always feel comfortable sitting down for a lunch here. The chicken fried steak is my favorite in the city. Although I would have reservations about recommending the tuna. A little too much mayonnaise for my liking, but I might be in the minority on that one.
